Lisa Fayed is a freelance medical writer, cancer educator and patient advocate.

Lisa brings her cervical cancer knowledge and experience from both a patient's and professional's perspective. Her role as a patient advocate and cancer educator, combined with being a cervical cancer patient, makes her knowledge about cervical cancer valuable and unique.

Lisa is currently working to improve cervical cancer screening programs in underdeveloped countries. She is also working on two books, one that spotlights breast cancer survivors and the other is a guide for women living with HPV.

Lisa holds a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville and is currently pursuing her medical degree (MD). She plans to practice in gynecologic oncology.
